Fourth Grade
Your fourth graders will have the opportunity to meet ALL of the grade level's California State P.E. Standards through the F.U.E.L. program, including these "key" standards:

Change direction quickly to maintain/increase the spacing between 2 players ( 1.2, 1.3)

Perform manipulative skills, such as throwing for distance or at a target, catching a fly ball away from body, kick a ball to moving partner, strike an object tossed by a partner, keep a hand/foot dribbled ball away from defense, trap a kicked ball, volley a ball with forearms ( 1.6, 1.7, 1.8, 1.9, 1.10, 1.11, 1.12, 1.13,1.14, 1.15, 1.16, 1.17, 1.18, 1.19, 1.20)

Perform a series of basic square-dance steps (1.21)

Describe the appropriate body orientation to serve/strike a ball ( 2.3, 2.4)

Design a routine to music that includes even and uneven locomotor patterns (2.10)
