Your Kindergarteners will have the opportunity to meet ALL of the grade level's California State P.E. Standards through the F.U.E.L. program, including these "key" standards:

Demonstrate non-locomotor skills (bending, stretching, balancing) (1.5)

Demonstrate locomotive skills in a large group ( hop, jump, run, slide, gallop) ( 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.10)

Perform movements to a steady beat (1.16, 1.17)

Demonstrate skills of catching, kicking, bouncing, throwing and striking (1.12, 1.13, 1.14, 1.15)

Identify the locomotor skilld of walk, jog, run, hop, jump, side and gallop (2.5)

Demonstrate flexibility, strength and endurance in a variety of muscle groups

Sustain moderate to vigorous physical activity for increased amounts of time (3.6)

Identify the indicators increased capacity to participate in vigerous physical activity ( increased breathing, heart rate) (3.7, 4.5)

Explain that the body is composed of bones, muscles, organs, tissue and fat (4.10)

Participates in physical activities appropriately ( recognize that games have rules, shares, participates as a leader and a follower) (5.2, 5.3, 5.5)
